Hop-on, hop-off bus takes the cultural route

A new open-top sightseeing route, H1S HK Art Discovery hit the road yesterday, aiming to boost cultural and art tourism in the city.

Operated by Citybus in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the route features five specially themed "art rover" open-top buses, providing a convenient "hop on, hop off" experience to some of Hong Kong's most iconic art and culture landmarks.

Key stops include Central Pier, Tai Kwun, West Kowloon Cultural District, and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In addition to the new route, Citybus has introduced a special edition of its Citybus+ Sightseeing Pass "Dayrider." The HK$198 pass allows unlimited rides on all Citybus routes, including the open-top sightseeing buses, for 24 hours, and is available for purchase on the Hong Kong City Sightseeing website and mobile application.

To mark the launch, Citybus and the HKTB will offer free rides on the route on March 29.
