Among visitors from Southeast Asia, the number of Filipino visitors accounted for the highest number at 920,113, marking a 66 percent surge over the same 10-month period last year. That is a recovery rate of 127 percent compared to the prepandemic level.

"Since it takes only two-and-a-half hours to travel from the Philippines to Hong Kong, we've often visited the city," Linao said."What we love most about Hong Kong are its delicious food and theme parks and we have all been looking forward to this trip!"
HKTB executive director Dane Cheng Ting-yat presented a bouquet to the family as well as gifts, including Mickey Mouse and panda plush toys.
