Starting today, visitors to Hong Kong Disneyland will need to shell out more money as the theme park has increased the prices of its one-day tickets and annual passes.

Under the new rates, one-day ticket prices will increase by five to seven percent.
The general Tier 1 ticket will go from HK$639 to HK$669, and tickets for children and seniors will increase from HK$475 to HK$499.
Tier 2 general tickets will increase from HK$719 to HK$759 for adults and from HK$539 to HK$569 for children and seniors.
Visitors who would like to go for the Tier 3 general tickets have to pay HK$50 more each at a new rate of HK$849, and HK$40 more for children and seniors tickets at HK$639.
For the most sought-after Tier 4 tickets during peak times, prices will rise to HK$939 from HK$879 for adults and HK$705 from HK$659 for children and seniors.
Annual pass prices will also see increases ranging from 3 to 13 percent, translating to a rise of HK$100 to HK$400. The silver membership will now cost HK$1,568 and the gold will rise from HK$2,558 to HK$2,748.
The general platinum membership will increase from HK$4,678 to HK$4,998, while the child platinum membership will rise from HK$3,368 to HK$3,748.
JoyYou Card holders can continue enjoying a discounted price of HK$100 for one-day admission tickets, while the age requirement for senior tickets and senior annual memberships will be lowered to 60.
