Four former Hong Kong swimming representatives crossed the English Channel in a relay, completing the journey in 10 hours and 16 minutes.

The four swimmers are Arthur Li Kai-yen, Fenella Ng Gar-loc, Eliza Chang Lai-shan and Angela Ng Hing-wah. They represented Hong Kong in swimming competitions in the 80s and 90s.
They shared their achievement on social media on Thursday (Aug 29), expressing satisfaction with their time and shedding light on their team spirit, passion for swimming and friendship.
They hope to inspire others and show that retired athletes can also make remarkable achievements, as well as bringing pride to Hong Kong through hard work and perseverance.
Chang also participated in a relay swim across the English Channel last year to raise funds, completing the approximately 50-kilometer distance in 13 hours and 35 minutes.
