To facilitate the holding of the LIV golf tournament from Friday to Sunday (Mar 10), crowd safety management measures and special traffic arrangements will be implemented in the area around Fan Kam Road near Tai Tau Leng Roundabout, depending on the traffic conditions.
Motorists are also advised to avoid driving to the affected areas.
About 6,000 locals are expected to arrive at the golf course each day.
The organizer will provide shuttle bus services to and from Hong Kong Golf Club at Central, Kowloon Tong, Hung Hom, Quarry Bay, and Mong Kok.
The continuous bus service at Sheung Shui MTR Exit C will run from 9.30 to 7 pm throughout the event.
The service of KMB Route 77K and New Territories GMB Route 57K will also be strengthened subject to passenger demand.
Around 2,000 to 3,000 parking spaces will be allocated to golf spectators, while others coming via taxi are required to stop near Ching Shing Road and walk about five minutes to the Fanling Golf Course.
