A new cultural and creative arts bazaar at Victoria Park—known as V Mart—will begin its trial operation on Friday, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced. Po Leung Kuk has been selected as the operating partner for the project.
Located across the park’s Water Fountain Plaza and South Pavilion Plaza, V Mart is one of the nine hotspot projects unveiled in May by the Working Group on Developing Tourist Hotspots, led by the Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration.
The bazaar will run from noon until no later than 9pm on weekends and public holidays, with operating hours adjusted where necessary to accommodate major events held in Victoria Park. The trial period will continue through the end of November next year.
V Mart will showcase around 30 stalls offering a rotating selection of handmade crafts, lifestyle products, trendy snacks, and beverages. The market will also feature themed installations and photo spots designed to attract both local residents and tourists.
Authorities said the bazaar’s evolving themes aim to bring fresh experiences to visitors and contribute to revitalizing Victoria Park as a cultural and leisure destination.
