Clockenflap has lifted the curtain on its full 2025 lineup, revealing a slate of heavyweight headliners and long-awaited Hong Kong debuts for this year’s three-day festival at the Central Harbourfront from December 5 to 7.
British indie-rock favorites Bloc Party will top the Saturday bill, marking their first Hong Kong performance. Shoegaze legends My Bloody Valentine will headline Sunday, also making their long-anticipated city debut.
The festival is doubling down on Japanese talent this year, adding singer-songwriter ANO and Kento Nakajima — the breakout star from J-pop group Sexy Zone — to the Saturday lineup as both artists make their first appearance on a Hong Kong stage.
They join an already stacked roster that includes previously announced headliners such as Vaundy, Franz Ferdinand, Jacob Collier, Rich Brian and Beth Gibbons.
The latest announcement deepens the festival’s mix of global icons, indie trailblazers and emerging Asian voices.
US indie group Bright Eyes, Hong Kong singer-actress Jace Chan, Thai-Chinese dream-pop artist Moon Tang, and Taiwanese indie favorites Wendy Wander are among the new additions.
Clockenflap will also showcase special Hong Kong crossover performances, pairing rappers, jazz collectives and local creators in one-off collaborations unique to the festival.
Electronic fans can expect a full weekend of high-energy sets from acts including Digitalism (DJ set), Dave Clarke, Bolis Pupul, Special Request and rising UK-based Japanese DJ Riria.
Supported by the Mega Arts and Cultural Events Fund under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, this year’s edition continues to expand Clockenflap’s vision as a global-minded festival rooted in Hong Kong’s creative scene.
The event will again feature multiple stages, large-scale art installations, interactive experiences, family-friendly programming and a wide range of food and beverage options — all set against the city’s iconic harbor skyline.
