A video showing a brawl between a masked woman and a man wearing a character onesie at Lai King MTR Station has gone viral online.
The undated 33-second clip was shared on Facebook last Saturday (Mar 7), capturing the pair clashing on the station platform in front of a crowd of commuters.
The video begins with the middle-aged woman gripping the man’s arm and repeatedly striking him with her right fist.
In response, the man, dressed in a white Korilakkuma bear-character onesie, retaliates by hitting her on the head with his mobile phone.
The confrontation escalates as the woman unleashes a series of kicks while shouting insults.
Although the man initially retreats, he later picks up his bag from the floor and shouts, “Come on!” just as the woman appears ready to leave.
The remark appears to reignite the altercation, prompting the woman to launch another round of kicks at him.
As the video nears its end, the man delivers a final remark before departing, saying: “Wait until I get off (the train compartment) before entering!” Which netizens believed was the cause of their altercation.
The clip quickly drew attention online, with many viewers jokingly declaring the woman the winner of the unexpected confrontation.
Some netizens likened the altercation to fictional martial arts duels, describing it as “Wudang Sect vs Emei Sect,” while others referenced classic kung fu techniques such as “the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms vs the Desolate Palm.”
The woman’s kicking style also prompted comparisons to the Street Fighter character Chun-Li, with some commenters dubbing the woman’s move the “Lai King Chun-Li shadowless kick.”
Meanwhile, the man’s Relax Bear onesie sparked humorous remarks online. Some joked, “This is my first time seeing Rilakkuma in a fight,” while others declared the character had been defeated in the exchange.
