The Vocational Training Council said applications can be made via its online central admission scheme from July 22 to 27.
"Admission notices will be sent by e-mail approximately an hour after applications are made," senior assistant executive director of academic services Gladys Yam Ying-sim said.
Those admitted have to complete the online registration by noon on July 27.
Yam advised students to set up a user account via VTC's web-based admission system before the DSE results' release to speed up the process.
The Institute of Vocational Education and Hong Kong Design Institute will be open as well to accept applications.
HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education Community College is also running a similar dual mode admission system from Wednesday until July 24.
Students can use iEnrol to claim offers after receiving their DSE results.
Online applicants need to fill in a form on the Admission e-Flow System on its website, upload documents via WhatsApp and pay the fee online.
They will be notified of the application result the same day and if an online interview is needed.
While the school is open for in-person applications, parents are not allowed to accompany students this year. Students need to fill in an electronic health declaration form.
"We've received almost 9,600 applications so far, 10 percent less," principal Chan Lung-sang said.
"Mainland applications have also dropped 60 percent," he added, adding HKU Space expects to admit 3,300 students this year.
