Disneyland launches STEM program

A Hong Kong Disneyland STEM program is collaborating with mainland travel agencies and schools to provide cross-border study tours for mainland students, allowing them to explore science while enjoying the park.

Disney's STEM Exploration recently hosted a group of Shenzhen pupils, letting them delve into the scientific theories behind the park's attractions, such as experiencing the centrifugal force in the Mad Hatter Tea Cups ride.

A student named Ouyang Yikun said learning in the park's joyful atmosphere is fantastic.

"The fun elements of the program kept us focused. Completing tasks around the park and receiving rewards from the instructor also made staying engaged easy," he said.

Senior Disney Youth Programs director Christine Ng said the park's facilities and attractions could offer students a relaxing and enjoyable environment to gain knowledge and foster innovative thinking in daily life.
