Bus expo adds evening time slots

The Transport Department has introduced two additional evening exhibition sessions for a bus parade at Victoria Park in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, following tremendous public response.

The exhibition, scheduled for October 19 to 22 at the soccer pitches of Victoria Park in Causeway Bay, will showcase a number of retired and in-service buses, including recently introduced new-energy buses, as well as different bus service-related memorabilia. Admission is free but visitor slots are limited. Registration has been ongoing on Cityline since September 20.

Amid overwhelming response, the department decided to add two evening exhibition sessions on October 19 and 20. Registration for the additional sessions begins at noon today. Successful registrants will receive a QR code to see the exhibition at their chosen time slot. Each visitor can obtain one commemorative ticket on-site.
