Feng shui master sued in alleged $28m scam

Instead of receiving the good fortune they had prayed for, a couple was allegedly cheated out of HK$28 million by a feng shui master, who has now been sued by the pair.

The wife, Julisa Fong Man, filed a writ to the High Court on Wednesday, demanding that feng shui master Bruce Lee Chun-pong repay her and her husband.

In the writ, Fong said that they were told to provide their personal properties to Lee last January for a blessing ritual at Wong Tai Sin Temple, pictured.

The pair then handed over to Lee a Rolex watch, jewelry and gold worth over HK$4 million. But Lee did not return the belongings to Fong as promised.

Fong also accused Lee of conspiring with other companies and cheating the couple out of at least HK$15 million to buy properties in Hong Kong and the mainland, as well as around HK$1.5 million to buy a Bentley car, a van and a motorcycle.
