Finding someone who had appeared in a TV documentary 30 years ago is never an easy task, as TVB news anchor Anthony Fong Tung-shing can confirm. The reunion is featured in the final episode of TVB's short series Big Big Old World that aims to look into the current status of people who appeared in old documentaries aired in the 80s and 90s. The five science students from St Mary's Canossian College, who are now middle-aged women, were seen relentlessly developing a "paper parachute" that kept an egg intact while it was dropped from a height in an old documentary.
But after many failed attempts, Fong managed to reunite with a group of secondary students who won an interschool "egg drop parachute" competition three decades ago that saw them smashing over 200 eggs.
