KMB to honor Olympians

In order to praise the outstanding performance of two gold medals and two bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the Kowloon Motor Bus has specially designed buses with the theme of Support Hong Kong Team.

The themed buses will mainly run on route 81C from Ma On Shan (Yiu On) to Tsim Sha Tsui (Mody Road), traveling through Shatin, Yau Ma Tei, Jordan, and Tsim Sha Tsui.

As KMB announced on July 25, there will be free KMB rides provided for one year to all Olympians representing Hong Kong this year and will also be given the chance to name a bus.

A nameplate with the naming content and message will be installed at the front of the bus to commend local Olympians for their achievements.

The themed bus will be mainly white with a five-ring colored ribbon setting off the silhouettes of different sports in which Hong Kong athletes have participated.

There will also be a Proud of You slogan on the bus to thank the local athletes, at the same time cheering for the local representative for the Paris Paralympics.
