Wheelock Properties has sold over 2,000 new flats year-to-date amid rate cuts and improving market sentiment, cashing in nearly HK$23.5 billion, the developer said.
Its Spring Garden project in Wan Chai, which began sales last month, nearly sold out all 88 units, generating over HK$800 million, with two special flats remaining.
Lohas Park O’East Seasons series in Tseung Kwan O has sold 717 units, garnering more than HK$4.5 billion, the developer said, adding that the first phase Seasons Place has obtained the consent to assign, which will be completed soon.
Besides, the ultra-luxury project Mount Nicholson on The Peak, the sales of which Wheelock Properties is responsible for, saw a deal of a penthouse with two parking spaces for HK$609 million, or HK$144,400 per square foot, setting the record high of the per-sq-ft price for a residential property in Asia this year again.
Ricky Wong Kwong-yiu, managing director of Wheelock Properties, said that the company is preparing multiple residential projects, including the sixth phase of the Wong Chuk Hang Station property development, the Kwu Tung project, and the luxury project Lung Ting Lane in Kowloon Tong, and will unveil the sales plan at the appropriate time.
