HK restaurants sweep top two spots at Asia's 50 Best Restaurants

More than 8,000 people in more than 100 teams gathered for the Hong Kong & Kowloon Walk for Millions 2024-2025 yesterday.
The 10-kilometer route commenced at Hong Kong Stadium and concluded at Aberdeen Country Park Visitors Centre.
Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu officiated at the starting ceremony, accompanied by Director of Home Affairs Alice Cheung Chiu Hoi-yue.
Longtime participant Leung said: "I've joined this walk for 20 years because it benefits the community and helps those in need."The event also welcomed many first-time participants, who viewed it as a valuable opportunity for family bonding.
In a parallel effort, another 7,000 runners participated in a charity run at Tamar Park, aiming to raise funds for the largest residential care home in the region.Organized by Pok Oi Hospital, the charity run supports the development of the Tuen Mun Lam Tei Nursing and Residential Care Home for the Elderly, which will provide about 1,500 beds upon completion.
Runners, aged three to 86, competed in various categories, including 10-kilometer and three-kilometer runs for both individuals and corporate teams, as well as a non-timed one-kilometer event.
