Doraemon drone show set for launch

Following the success of the world's inaugural Doraemon Drone Show in May and the launch of the 100% Doraemon & Friends Tour last Saturday organizers are set to unveil the second drone spectacle this Saturday at 7.30pm above the harborfront.

The drone show lasts about 15 minutes near Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade and eastbound Salisbury Road with 1,000 drones to be transformed into various classic Doraemon scenes and styles.

Parts of Salisbury Road, east and westbound, and nearby roads will be closed with temporary public transport diversions.

Fans can also buy a series of limited edition themed souvenirs, including a black or white drone show special edition tee set, bottled water, cooling towel, and LED glow stick, at the pop-up shops at G33 and on the sixth floor, exclusive for ticket holders, at K11 MUSEA, starting tomorrow.

Online registration of the outdoor exhibition will be suspended on Saturday.

Only ticket holders of the tour on that day will be admitted.

Holders of Saturday tickets to the paid area on the sixth floor can opt for the 10am to 4.30pm or 8pm to 10.30pm sessions.
