Moses and Charmaine steal the show

Moses Chan Ho and Charmaine Sheh Sze-man have been crowned best actor and actress in TVB's 2023 anniversary awards.

After a hiatus of 16 years since his win in 2007, Chan, 52, graced the winner's podium with his performance in Narcotics Heroes as a notorious drug trafficker.

Chan said "it felt sweet and different" to receive the trophy from his wife, Aimee Chan Yan-mei.

He also joked that his record of being a 28-time nominee for best actor will not be beaten.

Sheh, 48, marked her third triumph in the best actress category with her performance in The Queen of News as an ambitious TV news anchor.

This year's win also saw Sheh bagging the favorite actress awards in Malaysia and the Greater Bay Area.

After being second runner-up in the 1997 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant she went on to clinch the best actress title in 2006 and 2014. "I'm feeling so dreamy and my heart is still beating fast," Sheh said after Monday's ceremony.
