Upon being spotted, the lizard then ran in the direction of the vegetable terrace but was swiftly caught by staff.
Aberdeen was back in his enclosure and was interacting with a brown forest tortoise at 5pm on Sunday, according to the farm.
The lizard went missing after it was moved to a temporary small cage to be treated for a toe injury.
It was believed that Aberdeen might have snooped around the new cage and escaped through a weak spot.
