Hong Kong singer and Diploma of Secondary Education exam candidate Gigi Yim Ming-hay did not collect her report card at school yesterday as she was out of town.
During the exam week in April, Yim had scurried between Hong Kong and the mainland as she needed to perform in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province, on the same day of the English Language exams, and take the Mathematics exams two days later.
Earlier in an interview with mainland media, she revealed she had thought about attending universities in Guangdong and hoped to study fashion design or music-related subjects.
She recently said that she had thought of applying to the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, but preferred to learn fashion design at the Polytechnic University instead.
"I like drawing, it strengthens my imagination. I believe I can be an excellent fashion designer if I am no longer a singer one day," she said.
But she hoped to continue her career in singing while studying.
