Sam Hui picture perfect for birthday

Cantopop legend Sam Hui Koon-kit was very much the focus of family love as he celebrated his 73rd birthday.

Eldest son Ryan shared his childhood photos with his father on Instagram on Monday in wishing him a happy birthday.

"We love you very much and we'll always cherish the fun times we had playing music and traveling together," he said. "Hopefully there's still more adventures ahead."

Ryan, who recovered from bladder cancer three years ago, had his 45th birthday on Saturday. He also posted a three-generation photo with his father and his own children.

Hui's youngest son, Scott, celebrated his father's birthday by sharing a video on Instagram of an exhibition featuring his father at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. "Happy birthday to an amazing dad," he said. "I think I found my favorite present for you. I'm proud to have been able to create this personal documentary for you. Here's a sneak peek I can share with you."
