Police are investigating a suspected illegal detention case after a man was reportedly assaulted and forced into a vehicle outside an industrial building in Kwun Tong early Monday morning.

The incident occurred at about 5.05am outside Wai Kee Industrial Building at 25 Hung To Road. According to police, a passerby reported seeing three men punching and kicking a Chinese national at the scene.
The victim was then allegedly forced into a white seven-seater vehicle, which sped away shortly afterward. A white Mercedes-Benz was also seen following the vehicle as it left the area.
Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving the report but were unable to contact the caller again. A search of the surrounding area did not locate the victim or the vehicles involved.
The case has been classified as illegal detention, and investigations are being handled by Kwun Tong district police.
On Monday morning, a group of detectives visited the industrial building and nearby shops, including a hardware store on the ground floor, to review CCTV footage in an effort to determine the circumstances of the incident.
Officers are continuing to search for the missing victim and gather evidence from surveillance footage. No arrests have been made so far, and investigations remain ongoing.
