Under the theme "Set Sail Towards Your Digital Future," the participating firms spanning mainland, international, and local companies cover 21 technology sectors, including AI, big data, and the low-altitude economy.
Ricky Choi Wai-kit, director of Smart City and Digital Transformation at Cyberport, pointed out that the popular positions at this year's fair have shifted from data analysis and data processing to AI-related roles.

As AI technology rapidly becomes more prevalent, the market's demand for relevant talent has surged, Choi said.
According to Terrance Lok Ching-tung, co-founder of human resources consultancy Talentlabs, over 53 percent of jobs are now either AI-related or require applicants to possess AI skills, and candidates with experience in related areas will have a significant competitive edge.
However, Lok also cautioned that AI is gradually replacing some entry-level positions, including junior clerical roles, general software engineers, and traditional data scientists.

The fair will also highlight the potential opportunities for candidates with humanities and social sciences backgrounds in the AI industry.
Choi emphasized that the market needs "composite talent," noting that the key lies in how one combines their professional expertise with AI technology. Lok added that such candidates may have greater opportunities, as their work often allows more room for the human-centric application of technology.
Participating companies, including data technology startup Nnenu Limited and food supply chain technology firm Farmio HK Limited, also emphasized that AI applications are not exclusive to technical personnel and that non-technical talent can also play crucial roles in areas such as data management and industrial collaboration.
Meanwhile, this year's fair will place a stronger emphasis on interactive AI elements, introducing an intelligent driving demonstration and a drone soccer experience.
These activities allow participants to gain first-hand knowledge of industry applications and job requirements in smart mobility and the low-altitude economy.
The event also aims to build a bridge to mainland employment opportunities, providing internship opportunities across the border through dedicated information sessions and on-site interviews.
In addition, over 10 seminars and workshops will be held, covering topics such as AI in education technology and the animation and gaming industries.
Services will also include AI mock interviews, CV consultations, and an intelligent job matching platform that accurately recommends positions for job seekers.
