Woman injured, man unconscious after suspected domestic assault in Yuen Long

A domestic incident in Yuen Long on Saturday morning left a woman injured and a man unconscious, following a suspected assault and a fall from height.

Police said they received a report at around 9am from a woman who claimed she had been attacked by her husband at a residence on 88 Fung Cheung Road and had managed to escape.

Officers arrived to find the woman with injuries to her hands and later discovered a man, believed to be her husband, unconscious after falling from a height.

Smoke was seen coming from the apartment, prompting authorities to evacuate some residents as a precaution.
