The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will present the world’s largest one-stop jewellery marketplace this March, bringing together the full global jewellery supply chain under its proven “Two Shows, Two Venues” format.
The 12th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will be held from 2 to 6 March at AsiaWorld-Expo, showcasing a comprehensive range of jewellery raw materials. The 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will follow from 4 to 8 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, featuring finished jewellery, design, branding and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Together, the twin shows will integrate upstream raw materials, mid-stream manufacturing solutions and downstream finished jewellery into a single sourcing platform, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a leading international trade and jewellery sourcing hub.
This year’s twin jewellery shows will bring together 4,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions, with approximately 70 per cent coming from outside Hong Kong. Exhibitor participation from Brazil, the United Arab Emirates and India has expanded, while Uzbekistan joins the shows for the first time.
The shows not only reflect the industry’s diversity and international reach, but also demonstrate how Hong Kong continues to facilitate cross-border trade, innovation and collaboration across the jewellery sector.
Recent trade data underscores this momentum. Hong Kong’s export volume of premium jewellery to ASEAN markets recorded a 51 per cent increase, while exports to the United Kingdom, Australia and Switzerland grew year on year by 36 per cent, 28 per cent and 10 per cent respectively.
As the world’s largest one-stop jewellery marketplace, the twin shows offer buyers and industry professionals unparalleled access to every segment of the jewellery value chain. More than 40 regional and industry pavilions will participate, representing markets across Asia, Europe, the Americas and beyond.
Participating regions include Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, India, Israel, Korea, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Uzbekistan, alongside Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Türkiye, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and the United States, etc.
A key highlight this year is the debut of the Hard Pure Gold Pavilion, organised by the World Gold Council. Featuring 11 exhibitors from Chinese Mainland, the pavilion showcases innovative gold craftsmanship and advanced hard pure gold technologies designed to meet modern aesthetic and durability demands. The pavilion aims to use the fairs as a springboard for international expansion.
Several pavilions will also make their first appearance, including the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd and the Zhushan Turquoise pavilion from Hubei. Returning participants include the Tanzanite Foundation, the International Colored Gemstone Association, the Asia Pacific Creator Association and the Asia Jewellery Culture Design and Crafts Association. The Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association will once again collaborate with the Italian Exhibition Group to present advanced jewellery manufacturing equipment and technologies.
The Hall of Fame at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will return with more than 40 per cent expansion in scale, spotlighting renowned international jewellery brands and enhancing global brand exposure.
Among the highlights, Turkish diamond jewellery brand Zen Diamond will present diamond ring collections showcasing refined cutting techniques. At the Hall of Extraordinary, Hong Kong exhibitors will also feature prominently, with Continental Diamond Company displaying an 18K white and rose gold ring set with blue and light pink diamonds, while Unique Brilliant Ltd unveils a necklace and earring set featuring rubies in the highly sought-after pigeon blood red colour.
Jewellery inspired by Asian culture and heritage will be a major theme across the shows. Chinese Mainland exhibitor Guangdong JIABAO Pavilion Jewellery (Hong Kong) Company Ltd will present an 18K gold handmade filigree butterfly brooch crafted using national intangible cultural heritage techniques, with each piece requiring more than four months to complete.
Shenzhen Meifei Precious Metals Co Ltd will introduce a Palatial Modern Chinese Style jewellery series incorporating six traditional gold techniques, blending heritage craftsmanship with modern jewellery design.
Hard pure gold technology, which has gained strong momentum in recent years in Chinese Mainland, will also be explored in depth. Its high purity and enhanced hardness allow for lighter, more durable designs suited to modern lifestyles. A seminar organised by the World Gold Council will examine developments in the global gold market and the latest advances in hard pure gold technology.
A series of events celebrating design and creativity will be staged during the fairs. The Hong Kong International Fashion Chuk Kam Jewellery Design Competition 2026 encourages designers to create commercially viable and culturally rich gold jewellery tailored to young consumer markets in ASEAN and the Middle East, with its award presentation held during the shows.
The inaugural International Fei Cui Jewellery Design Competition 2026, organised by the Hong Kong Jade Association, will also host its awards presentation on site.
The 27th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition, themed Pure Elegance – Natural Beauty, returns to nurture creative talent. Local students and industry professionals interpret nature through their designs, with winning entries to be announced during the fairs.
Buyers can also explore an exceptional selection of antique and rare jewellery. Highlights include a 1970s Buccellati pink sapphire suite presented by a Hong Kong exhibitor, alongside a 19th-century Italian bi-colour enamel diamond piece preserved in its original box for more than a century.
At the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show, exhibitors will showcase rare gemstones such as an 18.98-carat AGL-certified natural pink sapphire and an 18K gold AA-grade ammolite and diamond necklace.
More than 20 seminars and networking sessions will be held, covering topics including industry trends, digital marketing and jewellery technologies. Sessions will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming jewellery design and commercialisation, as well as how influencers and e-commerce platforms can enhance brand visibility and sales.
The twin shows attract major international jewellery retail chains, alongside high-end, affordable luxury and designer brands from around the world. By connecting buyers and suppliers across the entire jewellery ecosystem, the fairs create significant business opportunities and promote industry exchange.
To enhance the visitor experience, the HKTDC has partnered with the Hong Kong Tourism Board and local enterprises to offer exclusive buyer privileges, including dining, air tickets and hotel offers. Free shuttle bus services will operate between AsiaWorld-Expo and urban areas, including the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The shows will adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format, combining on-site sourcing with digital tools. The AI-powered Click2Match platform will provide online business matching from 23 February to 13 March, while Scan2Match enables on-site buyers to continue discussions online. Buyers can also complete online verification via the HKTDC Marketplace App or official websites to obtain an eBadge for faster entry, reducing queuing time and enhancing sourcing efficiency.
