Hongkong Post has suspended airmail services to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates following the suspension of flights to the Middle East by several airlines amid the rising tensions in the Middle East.
The affected destinations included Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Comoros, Cuba, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Ghana, Iran, Liberia, Moldova, Mozambique, Namibia, Russia (Russian Federation) (Speedpost service only), Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Hongkong Post said it is closely monitoring the situation and will work with airlines to resume services as soon as possible.
