Two long-haired women were filmed placing heavy groceries on the hood of a freshly washed private car in a Tsim Sha Tsui mall car park after shopping, prompting the furious owner to post footage online and accuse them of selfishness.
The car owner uploaded video and photos to Threads, complaining that the pair treated his car hood like a table while unloading a full trolley of goods, despite having their own car nearby.
The clip showed the women laughing and casually organizing items into bags on the vehicle.
Netizens quickly criticized the behavior as rude and selfish, with many calling it “disgraceful,” “extremely selfish,” and “unprecedentedly shameless.”
Several pointed out the women appeared experienced at it and questioned why they didn’t use their own car hood or trunk.
The owner revealed the incident happened on February 11 around 7 p.m., and the car had just been washed, making the scratches and pressure marks especially painful.
When asked why he checked the dashcam, he jokingly said “sixth sense,” then admitted he happened to review and spot the clip while deleting old footage.
Additional screenshots showed one woman allegedly abandoning the trolley against a wall instead of returning it properly, drawing further backlash for poor etiquette.
