Police arrested a 56-year-old woman for suspected possession of drug paraphernalia after a 39-year-old man was found dead in a Sham Shui Po tenement flat early Saturday morning.
At 4.11am today, police received a report from a woman that a 39-year-old man surnamed Lee had collapsed in a unit at 16 Fuk Wing Street. Officers arrived to find him dead on the bed.
Cause of death awaits autopsy.
Inside the flat, officers seized suspected drug-taking equipment.
The 56-year-old woman who reported the incident and a resident of the unit, was arrested for possession of instrument fit for the smoking of dangerous drug.
She and the deceased were not acquainted. Whether the man had used drugs remains under investigation.
