Police arrested three men aged 31 to 38 with triad backgrounds on Thursday following a large group brawl at Lau Fau Shan Village roundabout the previous night, sparked by personal grudges involving their female companions.

The incident occurred around 9pm on February 25 when a large group of men clashed violently. Passers-by reported it to police, but the fighters had fled by the time officers arrived.
The case is classified as public place fighting and handled by Yuen Long District's anti-triad unit 2.
After gathering intelligence and an investigation, detectives detained the suspects in Yuen Long, Kowloon City, and Tai Po on February 26 on suspicion of fighting in a public place.
The brawl stemmed from personal resentments among the men's female associates.
A video circulated online on February 26 showing over 10 men from two groups shouting on the road, pushing, elbowing, and chasing each other.
One person was pulled down and beaten on the road amid the chaos. Nearby trucks were unloading goods, and workers paused their tasks to move away as the violence spread.
The groups attended separate spring banquets at a Lau Fau Shan seafood restaurant beforehand.
Disputes arose from grudges between female attendees, escalating to physical confrontations.
Anti-triad officers spotted the online footage, leading to the arrests.
