With the pandemic meaning an all-round tougher time for many people but especially the underprivileged, Hong Kong Disneyland has teamed up with Foodlink Foundation to launch a meal box donation program to help the needy.Meal boxes are prepared by the food and beverage team from Hong Kong Disneyland and more than 200 Disney volunteers, and every Thursday boxes are sent to underprivileged families or the elderly in need.

The Disney Meal Box Express is providing around 6,000 freshly cooked and healthy meals.

Tommy Mak, a volunteer from the technology and digital team, says: "By contributing only an hour of my day to prepare meal boxes I know I've made a difference in someone else's life."
Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel's executive chef, Mak Kam-kui, adds that the program also allows chefs to showcase their talents while contributing to society.
