The irregularities were found at sites on Lok On Pai in Tuen Mun, Yan Po Road in Tuen Mun, and Sheung On Street in Chai Wan. The Development Bureau accepted an independent investigation report and suspended the contractor from approved lists for public works contractors, material suppliers and specialist contractors.
In a statement on Sunday, Able Engineering said the matter might involve criminal acts by individuals and that it had proactively reported to police. The company pledged to handle the matter seriously and fully cooperate with all investigations.
