Over 100 evacuated as fire breaks out in Tsuen Wan flat

More than 100 residents were evacuated after a fire broke out in a Tsuen Wan flat early on Monday.

The blaze occurred around 2am on the 33rd floor of Tai Yuen House in Tsuen Wan Centre. Firefighters rescued a female occupant from the unit who was conscious but unwell from smoke inhalation. She was taken to hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
