12-year-old boy arrested for allegedly attacking sister with knife in Kwai Chung

A 12-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly attacking his 15-year-old sister with a kitchen knife at their Kwai Chung home on Monday night.

Police received a report from the girl at about 10pm stating she had been assaulted by her younger brother at a unit in Lai King Estate's Yat King House. Officers arrived and arrested the boy on suspicion of wounding.

The girl sustained a hand injury and was taken conscious to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment. The incident is under investigation.
