CupNoodles Museum Hong Kong has announced it will cease operations on January 11, after four years in the city, with a clearance sale offering Nissin souvenirs and snacks from just HK$8.
In an announcement published on its official website, the museum expressed gratitude for customers’ support over the years and stated that the company is preparing for its next phase of development.
Located in China Hong Kong City, Tsim Sha Tsui, the museum opened in March 2021 and remains the only CupNoodles Museum outside Osaka and Yokohama in Japan.
It allowed visitors to design their own cup noodles by creating custom cup artwork and selecting their preferred soup base and toppings, with up to 5,460 possible flavor combinations.

Another workshop guided participants through making their own Demae Ramen from scratch, beginning with kneading the dough.
Many netizens expressed disappointment at the closure, lamenting the loss of a family-friendly destination in Hong Kong.
While some recalled positive first impressions of the museum, they noted that the experience did not strongly encourage repeat visits.
Others felt the Hong Kong location was less appealing than its Japanese counterparts, and criticized its location as inconvenient for both locals and tourists.
Before closing, the museum is also running a clearance sale with various discount packages and limited-edition products, offering a final opportunity for visitors to take home memorabilia.
