Local residents have been delivering supplies to a temporary rest area for firefighters battling the five-alarm blaze at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, creating a supportive scene near the disaster site.

Island House Lane, located near the Tai Wong Yeh Temple, has become an impromptu resting point for emergency personnel due to its lighter traffic. The area has accumulated bottled water, disposable cups, bananas, thermal blankets and thermos containers donated by community members.
Volunteers noted supplies are currently sufficient and requested no further large-scale donations. Photos showed firefighters resting on the ground during breaks, some wrapped in thermal blankets to conserve energy before returning to rescue operations.
