The incident occurred around 5pm at a warehouse along Kwai Tai Road. The man was moving plasterboards when a stack toppled, pinning him down.
Colleagues rushed to lift the boards and free him, but he was found unconscious with blood around his mouth. Emergency responders sent him to Yan Chai Hospital, where he later died.
Sources said the man had worked for the company for more than ten years, primarily as a driver, occasionally helping with manual handling. At the time of the accident, he was moving 20 plasterboards, each measuring about 3 meters by 1.5 meters.
Police are investigating the incident.
