A violent street fight broke out in Mong Kok on Friday, leaving a Thai man with head injuries after a group altercation, with police now investigating the incident and searching for the assailants who fled the scene.
The incident occurred around 8pm yesterday at the intersection of Shanghai Street and Argyle Street, where a group of five to six individuals engaged in a heated dispute that escalated into physical violence.
During the brawl, a Thai man was attacked, sustaining head injuries that left him bleeding and collapsed on the ground. Emergency responders arrived to find him conscious, provided on-site treatment, and transported him to a hospital for further care.
Preliminary investigations suggest the man was drinking and socializing with friends at a nearby convenience store when an intoxicated individual attacked him, sparking the confrontation.
The assailants fled before police arrived, and the victim, attempting to pursue them, collapsed at the intersection due to his injuries.
Authorities have classified the case as assault causing bodily harm and are actively working to identify and locate the suspects involved.
