A village house in Wong Chuk Wan Village was broken into on Friday night, with thieves making off with luxury watches and cash worth over HK$240,000, police said.
At around 10pm yesterday, police received a report from a male homeowner on Sai Sha Road, Wong Chuk Wan Tsuen, who discovered that the terrace door of his village house had been pried open.
Signs of a search were evident inside the property, raising suspicions of a burglary.
After an inventory, the homeowner reported three high-value watches—two Rolexes and one Omega—missing, with a combined value of approximately HK$240,000. Additionally, around HK$7,000 in cash was stolen.
The case has been classified as a burglary and is under investigation by the Wong Tai Sin District Criminal Investigation Team. Police are actively pursuing leads to identify and apprehend the suspects.
