Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) has cancelled all community sports activities and facility bookings effective from 12pm on Tuesday, ahead of the Hong Kong Observatory's issuance of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 at 2.20pm.
"Friends of KTSP" members who have reserved facilities are advised to log into the KTSP online booking system to claim an electronic cash voucher, which can be used to rebook within the specified period, or to rebook facilities available for use within the next 10 days.
During the typhoon, all venue facilities at KTSP will be closed, except for the car parks and Kai Tak Mall, which will remain open.
KTSP warned that if the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or an “extreme situation” remains in effect by 5pm, all facilities will remain closed for the day.
The facilities will reopen within three hours, subject to safety conditions, once the Signal No. 8 or the "extreme situation" *has been* lifted.
