Kai Tak Sports Park named Hong Kong’s sole entry on Time’s World’s Greatest Places 2026

Kai Tak Sports Park, which recently marked its first anniversary, has been selected for Time Magazine’s prestigious 2026 World’s Greatest Places list, making it the only attraction from Hong Kong to feature on the annual ranking.

This global recognition cements its status as a world-class integrated sports, leisure, and entertainment landmark, highlights Hong Kong’s competitive “home venue” on the international tourism and events map, and positions it as a sought-after new global travel destination.

A spokesperson for Kai Tak Sports Park expressed immense honour over the recognition, describing it as a testament to the venue’s top-tier facilities and diverse visitor experiences, as well as Hong Kong’s appeal as an international hub for sports and mega events.

Time’s annual World’s Greatest Places list features 100 exceptional destinations worldwide, spanning hotels, cruise liners, dining venues, cultural facilities, museums, parks and more.
