Classes suspended for all day schools as typhoon signal remains in force

Classes of all day schools have been suspended on Monday as Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 remains in effect, the Education Bureau announced.

The suspension covers all secondary schools, primary schools, special schools, kindergartens and kindergarten-cum-child care centres.

Evening school classes will resume tonight if the Hong Kong Observatory lowers the No. 8 signal before 5pm, unless further announcements are made.
