Hong Kong’s football enthusiasts enjoyed a thrilling preview of the upcoming weekend's marquee match when English Premier League champions Liverpool conducted an open training session at Kai Tak Sports Park on Thursday.

The event attracted a large number of passionate supporters dressed in the club’s iconic red jerseys, with many waving scarves and flags in anticipation of their heroes' arrival.

The Reds are set to face Italian giants AC Milan in a highly anticipated exhibition match on Saturday, which will be the first major football event at the newly developed venue.

Among the attendees was a lifelong fan who had taken time off work to see their beloved team. The fan mentioned that it was a rare opportunity for Liverpool to visit Hong Kong and that they felt compelled to attend. 

They were eager to witness Mohamed Salah's skill firsthand, observe the team's organization, and evaluate new players like Florian Wirtz. The fan noted that even if the players did not perform with full intensity, just being in proximity to these stars felt magical.
