The high-profile event proceeded despite Typhoon Signal No. 3 being in effect, drawing hundreds of spectators and media personnel.

The star attraction was former Japanese adult film actress Sola Aoi, whose appearance in a revealing red gown caused quite a stir among onlookers.
The newly revamped venue, which originally closed its doors in 2012, has undergone a complete rebranding. Gone are the hostess services that once defined the establishment, replaced by a sprawling 10,000-square-foot central performance space designed to host international acts. Management expressed ambitions to position Big Boss Generation as a premier entertainment destination on the global stage.
Former adult film star draws crowds
The 44-year-old Aoi, who retired from adult films after getting married and becoming a mother, reportedly appeared touched by the warm reception from Hong Kong fans after more than a decade away.
During interactions with the media, she mentioned this was her first visit to Hong Kong in twelve years and that she was pleasantly surprised so many people still remembered her.
Aoi participated in the traditional lion dance eye-dotting ceremony, a first-time experience for the Japanese star. She was said to be particularly impressed with the venue's expansive layout, commenting on its impressive scale as she descended the staircase.
Exclusive fan events
The afternoon featured a special fan meeting where attendees could obtain autographs, take photos, and enjoy drinks with the celebrity. Tickets reportedly sold for HK$680 each. Later in the evening, an adults-only J-Pop Music Party was scheduled, with tickets including champagne and opportunities to interact with Aoi.
When asked about her impressions of Hong Kong after so many years away, Aoi remarked that the city's signature humidity felt exactly as she remembered.
The entertainer expressed hopes of visiting local attractions like Disneyland and sampling Hong Kong's famous desserts during her stay.
New chapter for legendary venue
Originally opened in 1984, Club BBoss was once the playground of Hong Kong's elite before closing amid changing social attitudes and economic conditions.
Its transformation into a contemporary entertainment complex represents a bold new direction for the historic venue, with today's star-powered launch signaling management's ambitions to recapture its former glory in a new format.
The evening's festivities were strictly limited to attendees aged 18 and above, with security personnel reportedly turning away underage fans attempting to gain entry.
