Club BBoss, a renowned nightlife destination in Tsim Sha Tsui during the 1980s and 90s, is poised for a return on June 14 under its new identity, "Big Boss Generation" (BB), following exclusive reporting by Sing Tao Probe and East Week magazine.
The HK$100 million revamp of the Tsim Sha Tsui East venue, originally scheduled for an October 2024 reopening but delayed due to construction setbacks, will feature two headline-grabbing events confirmed through VIP invitations obtained by Sing Tao Probe.

The grand opening will commence with a supercar cavalcade orchestrated by a prominent Hong Kong supercar club, whose members include a BB shareholder.
Organizers aim to deploy 80-100 luxury vehicles for a parade starting at Happy Valley Racecourse, winding through Caroline Hill Road, and ultimately reaching the club’s location.
The club previously drew police scrutiny during a similar 2021 Wan Chai event dubbed the "Hong Kong Grand Prix."
Adding star power to the festivities, Japanese former adult film icon Sola Aoi will make her first post-marriage appearance in Hong Kong as the guest of honor for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The 44-year-old mother of twins, who retired from the industry after her 2018 wedding, is expected to draw significant attention to the reopening.
It is understood that following the traditional lion dances and ceremonies, BB will host an exclusive 20-table banquet and private party for cross-industry VIPs, with attendees receiving complimentary consumption credits worth HK$10,000.
When reporters visited the site two weeks prior to opening, construction remained visibly underway with interior finishes yet to be revealed.
The club’s management, previously interviewed about an impersonation scam targeting the project, emphasizes a radical rebranding: abandoning its former Japanese hostess-club model for a "beverage-focused" concept targeting youth and tourists.
Management asserts the new BB will eliminate "unsavory elements" while aiming to revitalize East Tsim Sha Tsui as a mainstream entertainment destination.
The transformation of this legendary venue remains keenly anticipated across Hong Kong’s nightlife and tourism sectors.
