The incident, filmed on Nathan Road near Fife Street, shows a blonde woman in red and a grey-clad woman grappling on the ground, pulling each other’s hair and shouting while pedestrians and traffic pass by.
The 25-second clip, shared on Facebook with the caption "The weather is calling for a fight," does not explain the cause of the dispute.
At the start of the video, the blonde woman is already on the ground, pinned by the grey-clad woman, who refuses to let go of her hands. A blue-shirted bystander attempts to mediate, holding the grey-clad woman’s wrist as the two continue wrestling.
The scuffle escalates into a hair-pulling contest before the mediator finally separates them like a referee.
After the fight, the disheveled women stand up, adjusts their hair, and continues arguing through gestures, with the grey-clad woman even sticking out her tongue at one point.
Meanwhile, two foreign bystanders can be seen in the video leaning casually against a railing, appearing completely unfazed by the commotion.
