The hostel, which was converted from the existing Kai Tak Community Isolation Facility, will accommodate young people coming from outside Hong Kong to stay and interact with locals.
The operator plans to host 60 diverse events across the next five years, including cultural performances featuring local and international artists, monthly creative markets, and various art, sports, and academic workshops.
It will provide a platform for youth to participate in interactive sports and leisure activities, themed storytelling sessions, art exhibitions, as well as international cultural festivals.
Furthermore, the "Campus 1331" youth hostel program and a Global Youth Ambassador Program will also be launched.
"We aim to cultivate youth talent through an innovative hostel model and create a vibrant space for development and exchange that seamlessly integrates culture, art, and sports," the company said.
