The inaugural “Kai Tak Dining Cove Carnival” will start this Friday along the scenic waterfront next to the Kai Tak Main Stadium, featuring around 30 food stalls and music performances running until April 27.
Organized by the Hong Kong Markets Organisation, the carnival is part of the “Grand Opening Month” events celebrating the Kai Tak Sports Park’s opening, offering delicious bites and lively energy every Friday to Sunday and during public holiday long weekends.
As one of the carnival’s highlights, nearly 30 culinary brands will offer popular local bites, craft beers and specialty desserts.
Notable participants include Smoke & Barrel and Verona Gelato, serving their signature and limited-edition flavors perfect for springtime enjoyment.
Local culinary gems like Street Food Queen and Explicit Spices will showcase Hong Kong flavors with creative twists. Street Food Queen specializes in handcrafted Hong Kong-style street snacks, featuring modern takes like classic roasted duck shark fin soup; Explicit Spices, another homegrown brand, is renowned for its signature chili oil.
Additionally, nearly ten local and regional craft beer brands, including the well-known Taiwanese Zhang Men Brewery, will provide visitors with delightful tasting experiences.
The annual Hong Kong International A Cappella Festival 2025 will showcase a dynamic line-up of captivating performances at the park on March 29, featuring an auditory feast that includes the innovative Italian music ensemble Rebel Bit and the award-winning Singaporean vocal group The Island Voices.
In addition to these attractions, art installations will be displayed in the park and inside the main stadium, providing visitors with great photo opportunities.
Furthermore, 30 trees adorned with LED lights will line the pathway between Kai Tak Mall 1 and Mall 2, illuminating the area every evening from 6pm to 11pm.
