Curated by the festival’s Global Artistic Director Daniel Arsham, the hotel-themed visual spectacle is set to transport visitors to 1970s Las Vegas, while the design incorporates a futuristic twist through weathered textures and eroded surfaces.
The installation facade will invite visitors to explore and move through it as part of the immersive experience, serving as a warm welcome to guests attending ComplexCon Hong Kong.
The festival will also launch a series of exclusive merchandise featuring the hotel theme, including stylish jackets, playful bellhop key rings, and vibrant stickers, with prices ranging from HK$199 to HK$2,999.
Additionally, Arsham has invited a number of his artist friends to showcase their collections and products, creating a dynamic blend of art forms within the colossal hotel installation.
Based in New York, Arsham has made his mark across multiple realms, spanning fine art, architecture, performance, and film. Last year, he was commissioned by Mark Zuckerberg to craft a 2-meter-tall humanoid statue of his wife Priscilla Chan.
He has also collaborated with renowned fashion brands such as Tiffany, Dior, UNIQLO, and Adidas, while Pokémon and Disney have launched themed sculptures with the artist.
