Cold front to bring temperature to 14 degrees next Monday

The observatory warned that temperatures will drop to as low as 14 degrees next Monday (Mar 17), as a cold front is expected to move across southern China on Saturday (Mar 15), bringing showers to the region.

The weather watchdog noted that the weather will be humid and foggy on Thursday and Friday, with relative humidity reaching 100 percent and the lowest temperature hovering around 20 degrees.

However, temperatures are expected to fall significantly to 15 degrees on Saturday as winds strengthen from the north gradually over the weekend.

It is anticipated that temperatures will continue to drop to 14 degrees in urban areas on Sunday (Mar 16), and one degree lower in the New Territories.
