Man, 33, slashed in face by assailant in Yuen Long knife attack

A 33-year-old man was slashed in the face in a knife attack in Yuen Long late on Wednesday.

Police received a report at around 11.40pm of a man attacked by a male assailant at 180 Kat Hing Wai.

The assailant was said to have slashed the man in the face with a 20-centimeter-long blade, before fleeing the scene on foot.

Paramedics responded to the scene after the report, with the man taken to Pok Oi Hospital for treatment.

Police officers are still hunting down the assailant, which they believe is aged between 30 to 40. The investigation is ongoing.
